YOUR INFORMATION

Simple by design.

How ScrollSure handles your information and puts you in control.

Usage analytics.

We use first-party analytics and Google Analytics 4 to measure page views and selected actions, including analysis submissions, list controls, feedback selections, sharing, and alert form usage. First-party analytics uses an anonymous browser ID for up to 180 days and a visit ID that changes after 30 minutes of inactivity. Our server stores the trusted request IP with visits and events, and may derive a country name and device/browser information. Events are retained for 90 days; visit records are removed after that window once no retained events refer to them. Event parameters exclude submitted product links, email addresses, seller-question text, and free-form feedback. You can turn off usage analytics below; pending first-party events and analytics IDs are cleared. Google Analytics may use cookies; clearing local data does not clear those cookies or delete server history.

Product links and private checks.

No account is required. Submitting a product link sends it and your display preferences to our server, where the request and its processing status are saved. A secure, HTTP-only anonymous session cookie controls access to your checks and expires after 30 days. Selected screenshots remain in your browser and are not uploaded. No advertising pixels are used.

Feedback on this device.

When you save feedback, the full record stays in this browser’s local storage for the selected product and variant and is not synchronized across devices. Helpfulness and preset-reason selections are included in usage analytics; optional notes and next-step choices are not included in those events. You can edit or clear the local record below. Screenshots and draft inputs are kept only in session storage.

Price alerts.

Real report alerts save your email, target price, product, seller and selected SKU on our server under your anonymous session. When available, we check once daily and send one price-alert email if the listed price falls below your target, then stop that alert. Email format is checked; email ownership is not verified. Cancel from the report or the private link in your email. Clearing browser data does not cancel server alerts. Example-report demo alerts remain browser-local. Analytics events exclude your email and target; the cancellation page does not load analytics. Emails and targets are excluded from shared reports and images.

Share the report, not your input.

A share link contains the product, selected variant, analysis focus, and sharing source. It excludes your screenshot, submitted link, feedback, and alert email. Choosing a platform opens its sharing page with the report link. Downloaded images contain only the report summary and selected variant. Google Analytics records sharing actions, including platform clicks, successful link copies, and image download clicks. These events do not confirm that a message was sent or a file was saved.

Understand the report’s limits.

Reports reflect the information and dates shown in their sources. Prices, availability, and seller terms can change. Product analysis does not authenticate an item, guarantee seller reliability or personal suitability, or provide medical advice. Confirm the exact offer before purchasing.

Private checks and reports.

The server saves submitted links, task status and any resulting report under your anonymous session. The check page can be reopened in the same browser using its task link. Clearing local data below removes browser drafts and preferences; it does not delete server-side requests or cancel queued checks. Use Cancel check on the check page to stop a pending request.
